During summer 2008, studio for contemporary urbanism and culture Golfstromen will be hosting a temporary concept space in an empty five room building at the Bickerseiland in downtown Amsterdam.
Fluor is an informal, fully facilitated meeting spot containing
* project space for creative start-ups;
* a showroom/guerrilla fashion store hosted by OntFront;
* frequently changing exhibitions and refreshing events;
* a mini-cinema programmed with experimental films and documentaries made by young filmmakers;
* a 'Wohnzimmer' bar.
Fluor is also an inspiring place for working nomads or anyone being sick of working at home all the time. So feel free to come by with your laptop! Free wireless internet is available.
