Karel Appel House

- Concept, strategy for the transformation of the a tribute house to Dutch painter Karel Appel (1921-2006) in the Dapperbuurt, Amsterdam. The Karel Appel House contains of four short stay apartments for artists working at the Rijksakademie voor beeldende kunsten, where Appel himself used to work between 1942 and 1944. Every year the house will be transformed into a temporary mini-museum containing pieces from the CoBrA Museum and work made by the residents.
